Pedicure Day

Today I learned how to give a giraffe (Damani) a pedicure. While he is in the squeeze, we say "foot". We tap which foot we want with a stick and he lifts it. The tricky part is sliding a block of wood underneath his gigantic foot before he puts it back on the ground. Since Damani's hooves are pretty bad we trim them down and round them out. It was a very neat thing to learn. I also got to climb up onto the squeeze platform and apply medication cream to Pili's back. Giraffe totally rock.
