First Day of Work

Today was great! I woke up at 5:30 and was to work by 6:30. Since I hate to write full sentences, here was my day....in 96 degree heat....

1. Check on baby guinea fowl chicks
2. Feed hogs, Porkchop and Lulu, after they do "tricks"- Porkchop is told to "hold" while we place the food in front of him. Lulu is told to "back up". When we say "ok" they are both allowed to eat.
3. Clean hog enclosure (i.e- dig mud holes for them, rake up where they rooted the day before, crap cleanup)
4. Feed Africa (i.e-2 zebras, 2 ostrich, 3 eland) and clean enclosure
5. Feed Bongo and crane and clean enclosure
6. Paperwork, uniforms and popsicles
7. Lunch
8. Drive around and look busy
9. Home at 3:30
