randomness

family will be here in a week! my mom, oldest brother, sister-in-law, grandma, cousin and auntie are flying in to see me and take advantage of the fact that i have a sweet job and can meet really awesome animals :)

i woke up this morning to olive throwing up on my bed. lovely. especially lovely since i had just washed the sheets and such the day before. i guess she thought i should wash them again.

when i got to the barn this morning, Pili was still laying down. she is the giraffe that loves to twirl things in her mouth. if she were a person she would be a baton twirler. anyways, she was twirling a piece of bamboo that i had given her last night. i guess she saved it all night to have for the morning.

i have bought 2 house plants in attempt to make my apartment feel like not poor. i asked the guy at lowes to direct me to something that i couldn't kill. hopefully he suggested two hearty ones.

my eyes are still great. they go in and out of fuzziness, which is something they said will happen for the next 6 weeks or so. i have been back twice for checkups and they said everything is healy beautifully. i am able to read the bottom line- which means i have 20/20. before i think i was reading the line that was 6 above it. i love lasik :)
