Brushing my giraffe

Today I brushed Damani. Similar to how you would brush a pony or even your dog. I think that is one of the most relaxing things I can do in the barn. I absolutely love it. I show him the brush and he walks over to me because he knows what I want to do. When I started brushing him he let out a loud long grumble that made his entire 5 foot neck rumble. Giraffe grumble from Damani = I love whatever you are doing. I brushed his neck, chest, mane and body for about 20 minutes. He manuevers his body around to where he wants me to brush. Like I said, similar to brushing a pony except for when you brush a giraffe you have to stand on a 5 foot ladder :)
