Tour

today i had to be at work at 5:30. gross. there was a big tour for a family today that has donated a generous amount of money several times to the zoo. the tour lasted about 1.5 hours with 3 seperate tours and over 50 people. the president requested that we have the barn spotless and clean with the giraffe INSIDE by 9am. hah. funny how some people forget that you can't stop an animal from shitting. i made myself 2 cups of coffee this morning and had 4 donuts for breakfast. we cleaned cleaned cleaned, scrubbed floors, cleaned dishes, did everything possible and finished in the very nick of time. the tours went well with only a few kinks. needless to say i am exhausted. the boss sent us home at 2pm for a job well done. sometimes i feel like a puppet- do this, say that, take out your earrings, smile bigger, talk happier. ohh the life of a zookeeper.
